THE LEHIGH VALLEY YOUNG WRITERS FEST is an annual event (to be announced) where local middle school and high school students who enjoy creative writing can
- share their short stories and poetry in an open, fun, and encouraging environment
- connect with other students
- participate in fun, creative writing exercises and experiments
- learn valuable insights into the writing world from experienced writers
Students even get the chance to have their work published in the Lehigh Valley Vanguard, a locally established online magazine. To participate in the upcoming LVYWF, just follow the submission guidelines and wait until the date for the event is announced (watch out for it either on our blog or our Facebook page).
In addition, our official website also provides aspiring young writers from anywhere with opportunities to
- stimulate their creativity with our creative challenges
- submit their work for publication on the blog
- participate in regular writing contests
- hone their writing skills by reading the articles in our extras page
If you are a student writer who is interested in participating in the next LVYWF or would like to submit your work to be published on our blog (we review any work before publishing), just fill out the contact form or e-mail us at lvyoungwriters@gmail.com.
Thank you for visiting, and as always, keep fighting, keep writing. You are brilliant.
