Hi everyone! We’re going to have our first LVYWF contest!! The following are the rules to enter:

1. Write a poem (5 lines or more) about something that doesn’t make sense to you. Maybe you don’t get how televisions work, or perhaps you don’t understand love or war. Feel free to be creative and let your mind wander!
2. All who enter must be between the ages of 12-18.
3. Entries are accepted from ANYWHERE! You don’t need to be from the Lehigh Valley to enter.
4. Entries should be e-mailed to lvyoungwriters@gmail.com by 11:59 pm EST on June 25th. Please include your name, age, and e-mail address with your poem.

The winner will receive a $20.00 Barnes and Noble gift card, and their poem will be published on this page and the LVYWF blog.
